Exhibited at the 136th exhibition of the Royal Watercolour Society in 1905 (formerly the "Old" Water-Colour Society). Reproduced in The Art Journal (1905) with the comment:
"The figures in Mr. R. Anning Bell's 'Daisy Chain' (see plate) are in sweet consent with the harmonious architectural setting - it is a personally perceived motive."
