BIOGRAPHY

Hilda Fairbairn was a British artist working around 1900. She studied at the School of Art at Bushey, Hertfordshire which had been founded in 1883 by Sir Hubert von Herkomer (1849-1914).

Her illustrations were included in the book: The Saga of the Sea-Swallow (1896) by Maidie Dickson, along with illustrations by J. D. Batten.

Other painting titles include:
- 'These Pretty Babes, with hand in hand went wandering up and down'.
