BIOGRAPHY

Alejandro (Alexandre) De Riquer was a Catalan artist, and Spain's most successful exponent of the Art Nouveau style. He studied in Rome, Paris and London, became well acquainted with the Arts and Crafts movement of William Morris, and became one of the foremost graphic art stylists and innovators on his return to Spain.
