The Vampire by Sir Ed Burne-Jones
MESSAGE:
i went to a yard sale this Sunday morning, and found a old picture frame with 2 pictures and 2 poems all together. The pictures are The Vampire and A Womens Answer To The Vampire. They look like they are the original prints, the frame is definetly atleast 90 years old as well as the pictures. I bought them at a yard sale in Lee NH. And im trying to find the estimate price of them. Where would i go to do that?
REPLIES:
The painting
The Vampire, if by Burne-Jones, is by
Philip Burne-Jones, Edward's son, painted in 1897.
(See attached).
I'm not familiar with the other painting.
