JC Dollman
MESSAGE:
I have a print by JC Dollman 1915-1916 of four war veterans and a nurse convalescing on a bench seat in a park. Can anyone tell me about this picture and what happened to the original.

The painting is called the Creditors and was exhibited at the Royal Academy. The setting is Rotten Row in Hyde Park. The original is now in the Art Gallery of Queensland in Australia. Interestingly Dollman changed the painting slightly after the prints were made and overpainted one individulal in the left distance as an officer,
