This visually exciting international exhibition will include some of the great names of European and North American art including Frith, Manet, Monet, Van Gogh and Hopper.

With over one hundred works including paintings, drawings, prints and photographs covering a variety of themes, the exhibition will celebrate the power and impact of the railway on artists - from its embryonic beginnings in the 19th century through the golden age of rail to the 20th century.
