Visited this lovely display in the Cotswalds back in 1983. We went far out of our way to see these pictures, thanks to my dear cousin, and it was worth every mile. The manor house was beautiful, too, as were the peacocks guarding the gates. Burne-Jones is one of my favorite Victorians, and a gorgeous example of his painting abilities was exhibited recently at the San Diego Museum of Art. I was the only student in my art class familiar with his work.
