Pre-Raphaelite Pictures to début in China
Nineteenth century paintings from the collection of the Mexican businessman Juan Antonio Pérez Simón will be on view
in China through March 2009.
Works by Dante Gabriel Rossetti, Albert Moore, John William Godward, Lord Leighton,
William Bouguereau and Sir Alma Tadema are included in the exhibition
From Academia to Impressionism - Masterpieces of the 19th Century European Paintings from the Perez Simon Collection.
The exhibition opens at Beijing's World Art Museum in March 2008, and
will then tour to Shanghai, Hunan and Guangdong.
