4/11/2007 8:47:08 AM Amelie Poulain Interesting album... I didn't know Ruskin's love life had been so pathological and sad... human nature still surprises me!
4/11/2007 6:01:33 PM stargazer naturesfriend and bluangel---interesting tidbits about the artists and their lives, I think. Amelie---human nature leaves me stumped at times.
7/22/2007 11:41:11 PM chiaroscuro Loved the Effie link. Saw the portrait by EBJ of his son Philip at Shepherd & Derom Galleries here in NY - small pencil drawing that was on the market a few years ago for $4,000.00. A bargain for an EBJ. I am not sure, but I think that Peter Nahum at the Leicester Gallery has it now. Not sure - but thought I had seen it on his site. Very significant album! Informative! C.
7/31/2007 2:50:43 PM stargazer There's much to be said for living in the boondocks. Many beauties to be seen and enjoyed. Then again, I don't have access to the Galleries and the great beauties you do. Trade-off, I suppose. Lady With The Rose looks bored beyond belief. Glad you liked the album, c.
