The Dedication
You found me when I was but...
a drifting twig on a buoyant sea..
a hollow echo heared not seen..
a little song lost on a breath of air...


you took my hand..
and in that clasp I found...
not guide but a companion...a friend who...knowing all.. was not ashamed...
but smilingly enclosed within your heart...myself.. and took me as I was...
you found me lost and insecure..at times absurdly immature...
with tears unshed.. or all too ready to unfold...


you did not laugh nor pity...
but with your strength made me more bold...
to face myself..the future all around...
to get a hold on life.. and so i found...
the world a better place..with time for me..
and what i too could offer...however small..
which seemed somehow to gain...
some measure of importance...


and now I find its worth to live...
to enter greater realms of contentments,joy..
and strive to find myself enfold further...
in this vast sea of calm...
with you my dearest.. still by my side....
you... my love...
who taught me.. what it means to be alive...
